Guide

How Go mode works, in plain words.

What Priors is

Priors lends small amounts of USDG to AI agents on Robinhood Chain.

An agent borrows, repays, and each loan goes on its public record.

Anyone can check that record before they deal with the agent.

A longer record opens bigger lines, e.g. up to 15 more points of a stock line's share once an agent has repaid treasury loans. A default sets its score to 0 for good.

Getting started

  1. Sign in

Sign in with your Google account. There is no password or seed phrase.

Signing in opens your Priors account. It is a smart account on Robinhood Chain, and only your key controls it.

  2. Your account

Home shows your USDG balance, what your agents can borrow and your recent activity. Your account address is at the top of Home.

Home's steps card walks you through each step: add USDG, create your agent, borrow, repay and grow its record. It always shows one main button for what to do now.

  3. Add USDG

From Base: under Add USDG, choose From Base and send USDC on the Base network to the address shown. It's yours and you can use it again. Relay converts it, and it arrives as USDG, usually within a minute, minus Relay's small fee.

Send only USDC on Base to that address, since other tokens or networks can be lost. Or send USDG on Robinhood Chain to your account address, from any wallet or exchange. It shows in your balance once it arrives.

  4. Your withdrawal address

In Transfer out, save the address of your own wallet on Robinhood Chain.

Priors pays the gas for transfers out only to that one address. A new address can be used 24 hours after you set it.

This is a rule on what Priors pays for. You can also export your key in Transfer out and use your account without Priors.

Your agents

Create an agent

Press Create your agent on Home, or New agent on the Agents tab, and give it a name. Priors creates its ERC-8004 identity and a key it uses to borrow.

Save the key when the page shows it. The page shows it only once.

A new agent starts with a $5 line from the treasury. It needs a 5 USDG bond. You get the bond back after 3 week-long loans, once no loan is open.

Each account gets two first lines. After that, a new agent needs collateral you post, e.g. stock tokens on the Stocks tab.

Its card

Each agent has a card on the Agents tab. It shows the agent's tree, its Score v2 out of 1,000 and its level.

The tree grows as the level goes up. After a default it is bare.

There are five levels. Each one needs the one before it.

  1. Unproven: no loan repaid yet on a line someone else backs.
  2. Started: 1 loan repaid by its due date on a line someone else backs.
  3. Proven: 3 of them over at least 14 days, and no late repayment.
  4. Earned: proven, 300 points without income, and 30 days since the first of them.
  5. Income-backed: earned, plus 50 income points from at least 3 payers.

A treasury line counts as someone else's backing. A stock line counts as your own money.

Score v2 counts the USDG your agent kept and for how long, its week-long loans, its line, its time on Priors and its x402 income. A late repayment takes off 10 points. A default sets the score to 0 for good. See the full table.

Line

A line is the most your agent can owe at one time. The card shows the line and what your agent can borrow now.

Borrow

Type an amount of at least 5 USDG, choose a term, and press Borrow. The form offers the terms your agent's line allows. The USDG goes to your agent's wallet.

Your agent can also borrow with its own key, through the Priors MCP or the SDK.

A loan costs 1% per 30 days. The fee is set when the loan starts.

Repay

Press Repay on the card. The USDG comes from your account's USDG balance, so keep enough there. Your agent can also repay from its own wallet.

A loan has 3 days of grace after its due date. After that, anyone can mark it as a default.

Week-long loans

A week-long loan is one your agent keeps at least 7 days and repays by its due date. These loans count for the score.

So choose 14 or 30 days, and repay after day 7. A loan repaid before day 7 is not week-long, and its fee is the same.

A loan, day by day
  • Repaid before day 7: on time, not a week-long loan.
  • Repaid from day 7 to the due date: a week-long loan. A 7-day loan reaches day 7 only at its due time.
  • 3 days of grace: repaid late, 10 points off Score v2.
  • After the grace: anyone can mark it as a default.

A 14-day loan costs 0.47% of what it borrows: 1% per 30 days, set when the loan starts. Repaying earlier costs the same fee.

Its X account

On its card, press Link its X account. Post the line it gives you from the agent's own X account, paste the post's link, press Check, then Save to record. Priors pays the gas.

It's optional, and it never changes a score, a line or a fee. You can unlink it any time. The old link stays in the chain's history.

Next steps

The card's Next step says what to do now for that agent. You can hide the steps with Show steps in the account menu.

Lend

Lend puts your USDG in the pool that agents borrow from.

Agents pay a fee of 1% per 30 days on what they borrow. Lenders get a share of every fee, in proportion to what each one lent. The Lend tab shows the share now.

You can withdraw when you need it. Withdrawing soon after you lend can cost an early-exit fee. The Lend tab gives the days and the fee.

A default is paid by the agent's backer's stake, and the reserve covers only rounding dust. Withdrawals never wait for agents to repay, since every line is backed by its backer's own stake. The contracts are experimental, so lent USDG is still at risk.

Backing

Stock tokens or $PRIORS you put behind your agent let it have a bigger line. If the agent defaults, you lose part or all of them, as each part below says.

Stock tokens

Deposit Robinhood stock tokens you hold on the Stocks tab. The vault backs a line at 25% to 70% of their value, depending on the stock, up to $500.

A record of repaid treasury loans can raise that share by up to 15 percentage points, never above 70%.

A price drop only lowers what the agent can draw. If the agent defaults, the vault keeps tokens worth what is owed plus 20% and gives the rest back, or keeps them all if the price can't be used that day. Stock tokens are not available to persons of the US, the UK, Canada or Switzerland, or in restricted countries.

$PRIORS seats

An earlier seat is $PRIORS that a staker posted behind an agent's $5 line. Seats take no new agents. A seat still open keeps working until it closes.

An open seat receives the backer's share of the agent's fees. If the agent defaults, half of the seat burns.

Savings

Savings keeps spare USDG in the Steakhouse USDG vault on Morpho, in your account's name. Priors never holds it and can only send it back to your account.

Its rate is variable and reported by Morpho. It can lose value if the vault's loans go bad.

Repayments and transfers use your USDG balance, so withdraw from savings first.

Tools

Your agent can pay per use for tools and data, in USDG, from its own wallet. There is no gas fee.

Use tools

Connect your AI, let it pay with your agent's key, then pick a tool and copy it for your AI. Your agent pays at most 0.10 USDG for one use and 1 USDG a day.

Sell your API

List your API, and each use sends your price in USDG to your agent's wallet. For an agent created here, those payments count as its income in Score v2. Loans repaid while that income comes in count for more.

Jobs

Pick a job in Jobs and copy it for your AI. Your agent pays for the work from its wallet. If the wallet is short, Jobs says how your agent can borrow: on its card, or your AI asks and you approve it here. Repay once the job is paid.

Open Jobs

agent001

agent001 helps you run one of your agents. It shows the agent's line, next due date and score in one place.

It drafts each money move as a card, e.g. a repayment. Nothing moves until you press Approve.

Set up my agent runs the steps with you: add money, create the agent, save its key and connect your AI, then borrow. Each step is a card you approve.

To ask in your own words, it uses Priors AI. Each question costs what the model costs Priors, plus 20 %, from credit you add in USDG or $PRIORS ($0.50 is offered once if your agent posted its bond or repaid a loan). It answers only about Priors, up to $1 a day per account. You can connect your own model instead in its settings.

Safety and risks

  • A key that Privy keeps for your Google sign-in controls your account. You can export it in Transfer out.
  • Two-step verification is optional. When it is on, a transfer out, a change of transfer address and the key export ask for a code from an authenticator app.
  • Nobody from Priors will ever ask for your key or your Google login.
  • A default sets the agent's scores to 0 for good. No agent on your account can borrow again.
  • A default costs what you put behind the line: a treasury line's bond, three quarters of your own $PRIORS behind it, or stock tokens worth what is owed plus a buffer.
  • The bell lists what needs you now, such as a loan due within two days.
  • Lent and saved USDG can lose value. A withdrawal from savings can wait when all of the vault's money is lent out.
  • Priors is an experimental protocol with no outside audit. Read the contracts before you trust them.

Questions

Why does an agent need credit?

Agents pay for data, APIs and compute. A line lets an agent pay for a job now and repay when it is paid. Each repaid loan also builds a record that other agents and apps can check.

What happens on a default?

A loan not repaid within 3 days after its due date can be marked as a default by anyone. The agent's scores go to 0 for good, and no agent on your account can borrow again. What you put behind the line goes too: a treasury line's bond, three quarters of your own $PRIORS, or stock tokens worth what is owed plus a buffer.

Who pays the gas?

Priors pays the gas for what you do in this app, up to a set number of actions a day per account. Repayments have their own daily count, so other actions don't use it up. On a very busy day Priors' own total can run out, and your agent can still repay from its own wallet. Counts reset at 00:00 UTC. Transfers out are one a day, to your saved address. Your agent needs a little ETH on Robinhood Chain only for transactions it sends on its own.

Can I take my money out?

Yes. Transfer out sends USDG and your other tokens to your saved wallet, and Priors pays for one a day. You can also export your key and move them without Priors. Withdraw what you lent or saved first, in Lend or Savings. A withdrawal from savings can wait when all of the vault's money is lent out.

FAQ

What can my agent do?

Your agent borrows USDG from its line to its own wallet and spends it, e.g. on paid APIs through x402. You repay from your account's USDG balance, or your agent repays with its own key. Each repaid loan goes on its public record, which any agent or app can check. If you run an API, its payments can go to your agent's wallet, and they add to Score v2. Agents that come with a job of their own are not built yet.

Who can borrow on my agent's line?

You can, from this app, and so can your agent with its own key. Either way the USDG goes to your agent's wallet and the loan is the agent's. Repaying it builds the agent's record.

How does a line grow?

A new agent starts with a $5 line from the treasury. The treasury's rules allow a raise to $25 after 3 week-long loans, 14 days since the first line and an on-chain score of 100. Raises aren't open in the app yet. Today a bigger line needs collateral you post: stock tokens on the Stocks tab. A default closes the line and sets both scores to 0.

What is a week-long loan?

A loan your agent keeps at least 7 days before it is repaid. Choose 14 or 30 days, then repay after day 7 and by the due date, so it counts for the on-chain score, and for Score v2 on a line someone else backs. A loan repaid before day 7 doesn't count, and its fee is the same, because the fee is set when the loan starts. A 7-day loan only reaches 7 days at its due time.

How does the score work?

Your agent has two scores, each out of 1,000, from the same public record. Priors' contracts compute the on-chain score, and the treasury's line rules use it. Score v2 also counts on-time repayment and x402 income. This app and the Priors API show it, and no line depends on it.

Keeps borrowed USDG, then repays it
On-chain score1 point for each $10 kept for a day on repaid loans, up to 400
Score v21 point for each $10 kept for a day, up to 300, on loans someone else backs that are repaid by the due date. Up to 25% more on a loan repaid while x402 income comes in.
Repays a week-long loan
On-chain score20 points each, any size, up to 200
Score v2Up to 20 each by size, up to 200, on a line someone else backs. A $5 loan earns 2, and $50 or more earns 20.
Has a line

Defaults
On-chain score0, permanently
Score v20, permanently, for this agent and your other agents

Only records imported from the first Priors pool have points for paying another agent's debt.

Score v2 also gives a level.

  • Started: 1 loan repaid by its due date on a line someone else backs.
  • Proven: 3 of them over at least 14 days, and no late repayment.
  • Earned: proven, 300 points without income, and 30 days since the first of them.
  • Income-backed: earned, plus 50 income points from at least 3 payers.

A default also stops new loans for every agent on your account.

What are credit statements?

Priors posts each agent's loan history to the ERC-8004 reputation registry as credit statements: the loans it repaid on time, repaid late or defaulted on. An agent gets its first statement after its first loan, then a new one each week it borrows, and a default gets its own entry. Any lender or app can read them and check them against the pools' own logs, without asking Priors.

They are on the reputation registry on Robinhood Chain, and their format is public.

What happens if a loan is late?

A loan has 3 days of grace after its due date. Repaid in that time, it costs the same, and Score v2 takes off 10 points. After the grace period, anyone can mark it as a default. Then the agent's scores go to 0 for good, and no agent on your account can borrow again. A treasury line's bond is lost, half of an earlier seat burns, and a stock line keeps tokens worth what is owed plus a buffer and gives the rest back.

Can a line be taken back?

Yes. Once no loan is open, anyone can close a line that has had no borrow, repayment, opening or raise for 30 days. A treasury line goes back to the treasury, and the $PRIORS or the stock tokens behind a line go back to whoever posted them. A stock line never borrowed on can be closed 7 days after it opens. The agent keeps its record.

What does a loan cost?

1% per 30 days, fixed when the loan starts. There are no gas fees in this app. Priors pays them.

Something didn't go through. What now?

If the message says nothing was sent, nothing moved: press Try again, or wait as it says. A daily limit resets at 00:00 UTC. If it says it was sent but is slow to confirm, or that it may have gone through, don't send it again: check History first. The card and History catch up within a few minutes.

Still stuck? Report a bug, and never share your key.

How does my agent pay for tools?

On the Tools tab: connect your AI, let it pay with your agent's key, then pick a tool and copy it for your AI. Your agent pays per use, in USDG from its own wallet, at most 0.10 USDG for one use and 1 USDG a day. Nothing is paid until your AI uses the tool.

Paying works in AI apps on your computer, like Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or VS Code. On the same tab, Sell your API gets you paid when other agents use yours.

How can my agent use its line for a job?

Pick a job in Jobs and copy it for your AI. Your agent pays for the work from its wallet. If the wallet is short, Jobs says how your agent can borrow: on its card, or your AI asks and you approve it here. Repay once the job is paid.

Where does my list of agents come from?

From the chain. The list shows every agent your account owns, whichever device you created it on.
